Gregory K. Bowden, CEM, President & Chief Operating Officer Greg Bowden possesses more than 25 years of experience in the management, operations and maintenance of steam, diesel and electrical power plants. Greg's expertise extends to plant automation and controls, electrical distribution, steam generation (waste heat and boilers), lube oil, heavy fuel and diesel purification, waste water treatment, hydraulic oil, compressed air, safety and fire fighting, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. Greg also has an extensive background in the analysis of power management data to reduce operational costs, improve efficiency, and prolong the life of energy assets. Greg has been accredited by the Association of Energy Engineers as a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and he is a Certified Solar Thermal Installer (ME). He received a B.S. degree in engineering from the Maine Maritime Academy, and he is licensed by the United States Coast Guard as a Chief Engineer for steam, motor or gas turbine vessels of unlimited horsepower. In addition, Greg is licensed by the State of Maine as a First Class Stationary Steam Engineer, Master Electrician, Master Plumber, and Journeyman Oil & Solid Fuel. |

Edward R. Jenkins, Chairman Ted Jenkins, the founder of GSF Advisors, is an entrepreneurial investment banking professional with more than 20 years of experience advising, structuring and arranging asset financings. As the group managing director of GSF Advisors, Ted leads a team of professionals who provide expert advice in all aspects of structured transactions. Ted's expertise includes the development of highly structured private placements with institutional investors. His ability to identify solutions for clients and coordinate the technical disciplines necessary to implement sophisticated financing strategies has led to numerous first-of-their-kind transactions. These transactions typically focus on leasing or debt financing of fixed assets such as aircraft, rolling stock, manufacturing equipment, real property, and facilities of various types. Ted's focus on the renewable energy, rural electric cooperative and public power sectors, as well as recent development of a film financing program, have led to the successful completion of unprecedented lease transactions with advisory clients. Walter F. Jenkins, LEED AP, CEA, Director Wally Jenkins has an extensive professional background as a consultant, entrepreneur, and nonprofit executive. He possesses a strong business orientation and conscientious work ethic that have proven effective in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors. He is adept at bringing together diverse parties and special interests, and providing organizational leadership to achieve optimal results. In addition, Wally has served in leadership positions on numerous not-for-profit boards, including the board of trustees and executive committee of a prominent independent school. Through these experiences, Wally has gained a keen awareness of the organizational culture, challenges, trends and unique aspects of nonprofits and private education. Wally is certified as a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED® AP) by the U.S. Green Building Council, and he has earned the designation of Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) by the Association of Energy Engineers. Wally received a bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire and an M.S. degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Joseph F. Bradbury, CEM, Director of Energy Management Joe Bradbury is a retired U.S. Air Force colonel with more than 22 years of service as an air battle manager in the U.S., Pacific, Asian and European theaters. He is a distinguished graduate and former instructor at the USAF Fighter Weapons "Top Gun" School. He completed his military career as a senior management professional with NORAD in the position of director of support for the Western Air Defense Sector. In this capacity, he provided presidential air protection and was responsible for all maintenance, logistical and operational support and requirements for the defense of the western portion of the United States. Prior to his Air Force career, Joe was a project engineer for the U.S. Navy on the FFG-7, CG-47 and DDG-51 class vessels. Joe has earned the Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation from the Association of Energy Engineers. In addition, he received an M.S. degree in engineering management from Saint Martin's College, as well as a B.S. degree in marine engineering, with a minor in engineering science, from the Maine Maritime Academy. His military education includes the USAF Safety Board President's Course, Air War College, Air Command and Staff College, and Squadron Officer's School. |

Samuel B. Merrill, Ph.D., Director of Renewable Development Dr. Sam Merrill has a breadth of expertise in renewable energy development, environmental finance, and land use planning. Since 2003 he has worked in executive-level positions with utility-scale solar power firms and other renewable energy companies throughout the country. Sam has been president of the national Environmental Finance Center Network, and he still serves as director of the New England Environmental Finance Center where he implements innovative approaches to renewable energy development and local land use planning. He has been a senior project manager on more than 75 professional teams in government, nonprofit, academic, and private sector settings. His primary focus for the last several years has been on installation of new renewable energy generation systems. Sam has published more than 20 peer-reviewed articles, and he is on the faculty of the Community Planning and Development Program at the Muskie School of Public Service, University of Southern Maine, in Portland. Sam has overseen production of several widely-used tools, including an award-winning video entitled "Consensus Building, Smart Growth, and Community Change." Previously, Sam was the executive director of a land trust in coastal Maine and spent six years as a research biologist and land manager for the State of Minnesota. He has received more than a dozen significant career awards, including a military medal for Distinguished Public Service. He holds M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Conservation Biology and Wildlife Conservation from the University of Minnesota. |
